Borrowing Library Materials

When you have found library items in this guide you would like to borrow

--Click Request  Item to get a book that is not available at your campus library

--Type in your ACCeID number and password on the request form

--Select a Pickup Library from the menu, then click Request Item

It usually takes 2-5 business days to have material sent from one campus library to another through campus mail.

Most books and media items are loaned for two weeks.  You may renew your material twice if it has not been requested by another borrower.

HIST 2381 U.S. HISTORY I -- AFRICAN-AMERICAN EMPHASIS (3-3-0).
A study of the history of African-Americans in the United States. Includes the role African-American culture has played in the development of the American nation to 1865. Counts toward U.S. History requirement or as an elective.

HIST 2327 MEXICAN-AMERICAN HISTORY I (3-3-0).
A study of the economic, social, cultural, and political development of Mexican-American people with particular emphasis upon their contribution to American society. Counts toward U.S. History requirement or as an elective.

HIST 2328 MEXICAN-AMERICAN HISTORY II (3-3-0).
A continuation of HIST 2327, emphasizing the modern contributions and leaders of the Mexican-American culture in America. Counts toward U.S. History requirement or as an elective.

HIST 2341 - Studies in United States History (3-3-0)C A treatment of selected topics in the history of the United States. May be repeated when topics vary.

  • American Indians - A survey of the society and culture of American Indians and how it changed through time.
  • Latinos in the United States - A comprehensive survey of the different Latino experiences in the history of the United States.
HIST 2301 - History of Texas (3-3-0)V A survey of the political, economic, social, cultural, and intellectual development of Texas from prehistoric time to the present with attention given to ethnic minorities. Counts toward U.S. History requirement or as an elective.>
