Faculty Teaching Toolbox: ACC Help Desk

The Faculty Teaching Toolbox is a resource for faculty and staff that provides an introduction to some of the many instructional support services offered by Austin Community College.

What is the ACC HelpDesk?

The Information Technology Help Center is a free service for ACC students, faculty, and staff. It provides assistance with technology-related issues through online forms, email, live chat, and over the phone.

If you have trouble logging in to library resources or Blackboard, they can reset your password.



How do I access the ACC HelpDesk offline?

The HelpDesk homepage has links (see box above) for faculty, staff, and students, depending on what the nature of the request is.

If you are offline call to 223-HELP (223-4357) to speak to a HelpDesk technician.

Note: For weekend campus network outages please contact the campus managers office.


How do I use the ACC HelpDesk?

The HelpDesk technicians can assist with any problems related to computers, computer networking, ACC Web Applications and telecommunications. Take a look at the Services and FAQs page to see if your issue is covered.

What do I tell my students?

The ACC Help Center assists students with a variety of problems including: ACCeID, ACCmail activation and login issues for blackboard and ACC wireless. If you are experiencing a problem or have a question about these ACC applications, contact the Help Center at 223-4636 or submit a Help Request . If the Help Center Technicians cannot answer your questions or assist you with your problem, they will put you in touch with someone who can assist you.
