Introduction

This LibGuide identifies free resources that you can use for background material and support for your Basic Math course.  The resources are divided into two major categories: videos and text material.

Free resources abound on both the Internet and in libraries. The most difficult thing is to find what it is you truly need. The videos selected were those deemed to best cover the material in the curriculum. While the same is true for the text material, written resources tend to be lengthier and  some cover more material than our curriculum. Many sources in the text material have an interactive aspect with problems for you to try.

At the end of each page there is a list of links that will take you to additional topics at the sources we have used.
