Is Library Language Different?
Your instructor said you need at least three articles from a periodical, but what's a periodical? And what is the difference between a dictionary and a thesaurus?
Like any workplace, the library has its own language or jargon, and odds are - if you use the library, you may run into a term with which you are not familiar. If you are in the library, ask a librarian, we will be happy to let you know what all the fuss it about.
