Highlights
Student Success: Students attending instruction sessions with Faculty Librarians.
Even in years with decreased college enrollment, the number of students taught during instruction sessions with Faculty Librarians either held steady or increased. In AY20, this number was on track to be at least 5% higher than AY19 prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and the college moving to remote-only learning in the middle of the Spring semester.
Student Success: Online Tutorials.
These nationally award-winning tutorials designed by ACC Faculty Librarians teach Gen Ed and Workforce information literacy skills and guide users through information research processes. These numbers reflect their extreme popularity with ACC’s classroom faculty. For a full list of tutorials included, visit library.austincc.edu/help/tutorials.php.
When it became clear that remote-only learning would last much longer than originally expected, ACC Faculty Librarians focused on increasing digital resources to support classroom Faculty curriculum development and student access to resources.
