ENGL 1301 - Wilson - Spring 2023: Books and Ebooks

A guide outlining some of the ACC Library resources you may find useful for writing your research paper on the brain.

Library Resources Quick Search

Type the keyword(s) in the box below then press Enter or click the Search button.

This search will do a search as if you were on the library home page. Try keywords that you think will retrieve books and ebooks on your topic. It's usually best to start with a few words and then add words if you're getting too many. Try different combinations. Some suggestions:

  • brain
  • memory
  • mental health
  • senses
  • brain injury

As you search, make note of words that you see in the results that you may not have thought of -- and then try searching on those.

Limit Your Search

Overwhelmed with results? Don't forget to use the limiters on the left side of the results screen. You can limit to specific formats (book, ebook, etc.), or you can limit to items housed at a specific campus.

Find something on another campus that you want? You can usually click on the "Request This Copy" button and have that item sent to any campus you want. We'll send  you an email when it's ready to be picked up.

Specialized Encyclopedia Searches
