ACC Library Services: The Future of Education Instruction: Future of Employment

TECPDS is one of several statewide programs managed by CLI to support the early childhood system, including programs, professionals, and families across the state, as part of its role as the Texas State Center for Early Childhood Development. TECPDS launched in 2013 and continues to expand and enhance professional development opportunities, resources, and tools for early childhood professionals.

Free enrollment for Texas early childhood professionals in the Texas Annual Training Course is 100% funded with federal Child Care and Development Funds.

ChildCare Education Institute (CCEI) offers online professional development courses for teachers and child care providers that meet state training requirements and are awarded IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs). CCEI’s professional teacher development courses are designed to provide students with generally accepted child care practices and training based on research in the field of early childhood education. Our online professional development courses for teachers and child care providers are written by early childhood experts.

From NAEYC, a national collaboration to define the early childhood education profession, birth through age 8, across states and settings, by establishing a framework for career pathways knowledge and competencies, qualifications, standards, accountability supports, and compensation to define the early childhood education profession.
