Art: ARTstor for Faculty

A guide for finding art information in ACC libraries.

ARTstor - for faculty

Browsing the images does not require you to register with ARTstor.  However, if you want to download images, you must register (look in upper right corner) before doing so.

NOTE:  Everyone's accounts expire after 120 days of no use.  To avoid this, do the following:

Log in from on-campus or through the Library's website:

Logging in directly to ARTstor from off-campus doesn't restart the 120 day clock.

The BEST way to get to ARTstor all the time is via the library website to avoid confusion.

What does ARTstor offer you as a faculty member?

  • Save and sort images into folders that are password-protected.
  • In addition to ARTstor images, you may add your own images to folders and show them to classes.  Yes, those slides you've collected over the years can be added to your ARTstor folders!
  • Use Powerpoint to make offline presentations in class.
  • Each image has a stable URL so you can embed them in your syllabi or Word or Powerpoint software.
