As an ACC student you have access to several news sources and journals (relevant to economics and macroeconomics) through the ACC Library. You will need your ACCeid and password to access journal articles through the databases; however, some newspapers (like The Wall Street Journal) require you to login.

Here are some examples of search strategies for economics:

Use the Library Catalog

• Use the advanced search feature for best results.
• Search by subject using: economics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, labor economics
• Search using keywords: unemployment, gpd, supply, demand
• Use AND, OR, NOT.
• Example: macroeconomics AND unemployment; labor economics AND supply
