How documentation works

There are several specific styles of documentation, but all have the same purpose: When you borrow another's ideas, you have to tell the reader where those ideas came from.

The documentation style you use depends on the discipline or field of your research. Your professor will tell you which style to use.  If not, use CSE for science papers.
