Faculty Teaching Toolbox: ACC Help Desk

The Help Center is a free service for ACC students, faculty, and staff. It provides assistance with technology-related issues through online forms, email, live chat, and over the phone.

If you have trouble logging in to library resources or Blackboard, they can reset your password.

Blackboard Support is available Monday - Thursday from 8:00am - 7:00pm, Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am - 4:00pm at 512-223-4636.

The HelpDesk technicians can assist with any problems related to computers, computer networking, ACC Web Applications and telecommunications. Take a look at the Services and FAQs page to see if your issue is covered.

The ACC Help Center assists students with a variety of problems including: ACCeID, ACCmail activation and login issues for blackboard and ACC wireless. If you are experiencing a problem or have a question about these ACC applications, contact the Help Center at 223-4636 or submit a Help Request . If the Help Center Technicians cannot answer your questions or assist you with your problem, they will put you in touch with someone who can assist you.

The ACC Help Center is also the first point of contact for:

• Admissions and Records
• Cashiers offices,
• Financial Aid, 
• Distance Learning,
• Registration and
• 1098t questions.

ACC Computer Login:

• Students use ACCeID + password to login (same username and password they use for Blackboard)
• Login will not work if student is not enrolled
• Login will not work if student is enrolled but not paid
   

If the user is not a currently enrolled student, send to Library - guest / visitor logins are available.  There are no guest logins available in the computer center.

Logoff:

• For security and privacy - computers do NOT save student work
• Students must email saved work to themselves or save to a flash drive before logoff.
• Student must logoff (or click restart icon) when finished
• Do not turn off the computer
