The ACC Library BatLab is a pop-up makerspace for all ACC students, faculty, and staff interested in doing hands-on, real-world, multidisciplinary projects in an informal, co-curricular setting. We hope you will join us when we come to your campus!
ACC students, faculty, and staff can attend a virtual workshop, start a project, or learn a new skill. Just hanging out and watching or experimenting is okay, too -- there are no grades and no deadlines.
A unique aspect of the BatLab is a supportive, multidisciplinary peer learning community. The pop-up makerspace activities at ACC campuses are often visited by students and faculty from majors like engineering, CAD, music, computer science, and electronics, as well as from the humanities and the social sciences.
If you're interested in robotics, wearable electronics, animatronics, automation, the Internet of Things, or just making cool tech projects, come by and join the noise!
