Library Services Makerspace Kits: Home

ACC Library Services has a collection of circulating Makerspace kits for all current ACC students, faculty and staff.

Create. Innovate. Share.

In ACC library services, you can experiment with makerspace activities by checking out our circulating Arduino and Raspberry Pi kits. All current ACC students, staff, and faculty are welcome to check out these kits, take them home, and start learning. These can be a great opportunity for you to experiment with computer science and electronics to determine if this might be a career path (or a hobby) that might interest you.

In this guide you will find many resources that can help you get started with these kits. There is information about the components in the kits, and links to resources that will guide you through some beginning projects. You can also find many books, ebooks, and articles about makerspaces and makerspace activities in our library catalog and databases.

There are also many other makerspace opportunities in the Austin area. If your interest is piqued by our kits, you may be interested in seeing what other maker opportunities are available in the community.

These Maker Kits are the only service provided by ACC library services. We do not have 3D printing, CNC machine, virtual reality, etc.
