BatLab Makerspace: For Faculty

The new ACC Library BatLab is a pop-up makerspace for all ACC students, faculty and staff.

The Batlab Makerspace is helping facilitate new levels of learning, boosting creativity, and deepening the understanding students have towards a subject.

Here are some examples of the kinds of subject-specific projects college faculty members have introduced to their students:

  • Creation of music for the Humanities with Arduinos.

  • Fashion students creating sewable circuits.

  • Temperature monitoring devices in environmental science classes.

  • Occupational therapy 3D printing. 

  • Digital Media creation.

  • Virtual Makerspace Art.

  • EDUC Extra Credit assignments.

  • VR art gallery visit.

  • VR anatomy. 

  • and more!
