Mary Havens, Faculty Librarian/Assistant Professor, received the NISOD Excellence Award 2020, awarded to recognize employees who demonstrate excellence in and outside the classroom. Mary will receive a stipend, registration to attend the NISOD Conference, where she will attend the NISOD Excellence Awards Dinner. She will also be awards at the ACC Awards Dinner, spring 2020.
Eastview Faculty Head Librarian Margaret Peloquin was honored at the South Central Chapter of the Medical Library Association with the Association’s Distinguished Service Award for 2018. This Award recognizes outstanding service to SCC/MLA and recipients are selected on the basis of their contributions in measurable ways to Chapter members and other health sciences professionals including design and delivery of professional development, extensive mentoring work, research design and presentation and leadership in chapter conference educational offerings.
