Child Care & Development at ACC


The Child Development Department located on the Eastview Campus administers programs that develop competent educators of young children.

ACC Libraries purchase materials in the following areas that support the preparation of professionals in the program:

  • child growth and development,
  • quality child care, child nutrition and health care,
  • day care management
  • age-appropriate teaching techniques
  • educational games and activities, exceptional children
  • parent education and parenting skills
  • family and community lifestyles
  • current, legal, and ethical issues in the field
