Before you can find literary criticism, it is important to know what it is and what it is not. Literary criticism is not a book review. Book reviews are usually short articles that describe the plot or style of a book, as well as include some information about the author. Literary criticism is a much more in-depth analysis of a book, short story, play, or poem. These articles are usually longer, more scholarly and are usually published in scholarly journals as opposed to popular magazines and newspapers.
