Brown Bags for AI Explorers
A shared partnership between ACC CFID and Library Services
Let’s have a monthly brown bag lunch in March and April to explore Artificial Intelligence applications for teaching and learning and productivity flow! We would love to have you share your ideas on how you are using AI Tools and both your successes and challenges with AI competency and AI Literacy. Bring your own lunch and meet with other staff and faculty to explore these tools together. Bring your own device and try out new Tools!
Bring your laptop and your lunch and let's explore AI Tools for Teaching, Learning, and Flow together!

The ACC LS AI Symposium & Workshop - Jan 16, 2025 - presented in a hyflex environment, facilitated by Toyya Cisneros and Courtney Mlinar. Presentations by the Co-Founder of Boodlebox, France Hoang, and instructional faculty, faculty librarians, an instructional designer, and library staff were followed by a social learning exploration of various AI Tools for Teaching, Learning, and Flow.
We are following the faculty development framework established in our College Fluency project to introduce AI Tools for Teaching, Learning, and Flow to faculty across the multi-campus urban/suburban/rural environments at Austin Community College District.
Learn more about this framework in the ITHAKA S+R case study report on College Fluency at Austin Community College.
