Constitutional Rights, Anti-Vaxxers, and Social Responsibility - Questions

Remember: DO NOT simply number your paper and answer the questions. You are to craft a paper around the questions and around your position, and research regarding the subject that you have chosen.

  1. What are anti-vaxxers?
  2. What is their position and how does it affect others in the local, state and global community?
  3. Do anti-vaxxers oppose all historic vaccines or are there particular vaccines that are opposed?
  4. When did the anti-vaxxer movement begin?
  5. What was the basis of the movement in the past, and how is it the same or different today?
  6. Anti-vaxxers have in recent months taken the posture that imposing vaccines is a violation of their constitutional rights. Are there other societal  issues or differences that can also be considered a violation of constitutional rights? If so, what are they, and how do they differ from the claims of anti-vaxxers?
  7. What are some of the common beliefs regarding vaccines in terms of the impact on physical health and well-being?
  8. What does research show regarding the safety of vaccines in childhood, adulthood and late adulthood?
  9. What has been your experience with vaccines?
  10. What would be the impact on society if more and more people opt out of vaccines in terms of school age children, adults and children with compromised immune systems, the elderly, and your current or future family’s health and well-being?
