EDUC 1300 - Swisher - Fall 2023: Your Assignment!

This is the guide for Prof. Swisher's EDUC 1300 Fall class.

EDUC 1300: Effective Learning: Strategies for College Success

Using your strengths presentation and paper (10 points, due 10/11):

First write what you believe your strengths are. Then complete the Multiple Intelligences Assessment at the following site:

http://www.literacynet.org/mi/assessment/findyourstrengths.html.

Then review your scores for each type of intelligence. How does the assessment compare with what you believe your strengths are? Do you agree with the results of the assessment? Why? How might you able to use your strengths to your advantage in your college coursework and your professional and personal life? How might you use your strengths to meet your academic, professional, and personal goals? Write a one-page reflection and submit it via Blackboard.

After reflecting on your initial beliefs and the assessment results, create an auditory, visual, and/or tactile representation of your strengths. The representation may take any form (e.g., speech, video, audio, arts and craftwork, musical, demonstration). Share your visual representation with the class in a 3-to-5-minute presentation.
