This LibGuide is for Prof. VanSandt's HIST 1301 & 1302 class

What is the Library Catalog?

The ACC Library Catalog is a searchable list of all the books, ebooks, DVDs and streaming videos in the ACC Libraries' collection.

Ways to Search

When you search the catalog you can choose how you want to search. Some of the most commonly used are Author, Title, or LC Subject. Leaving the search set to the default setting All Fields is the best search for most things.

You can also limit by campus library or material type. Search defaults to all campus libraries, unless you choose a specific location.

Parts of the Catalog

1. Book/Video title - Click on the title to see the full record and to place a hold on the book

2. Author

4. Library - Which campus libraries have the item

5. Status - Whether the book/DVD is available for check out
