You can't see us, but we are here to help!
All ACC Libraries are closed until further notice for walk-in business. However, we are working virtually, behind-the-scenes to assist students, faculty and staff.
Visit our Library Information and Servies during COVID-19 Guide for the most up-to-date information and announcements.
You can also use our new Library and Research Skills Videos!
This LibGuide identifies free resources that you can use for background material and support for your Basic Math course. The resources are divided into two major categories: videos and text material.
Free resources abound on both the Internet and in libraries. The most difficult thing is to find what it is you truly need. The videos selected were those deemed to best cover the material in the curriculum. While the same is true for the text material, written resources tend to be lengthier and some cover more material than our curriculum. Many sources in the text material have an interactive aspect with problems for you to try.
At the end of each page there is a list of links that will take you to additional topics at the sources we have used.
If you are back in school after being away for a while, or, have just never felt comfortable with numbers, you are in the right place.
In this guide, you will be presented with short tutorials that explain various math concepts. These short tutorials have been chosen by ACC Math faculty who understand what you need to be successful! So, stick around! Review materials assigned by your faculty a little everyday, and soon, you will see your skills improve!
