ENGL 1301 - Latimer: Home

Welcome!

Welcome David Latimer's English Composition I class.

Use the tabs across the top of the page to navigate through the different sections of this guide.

How to begin searching for information for your paper!

ACC libraries have scholarly, authoritative, and useful information for all your research needs, in both print and digital form.

The tabs along the top of the page provide details on the different types of resources listed below:

Books &

eBooks

A book can provide detailed background and in-depth information about any given topic. ACC libraries have nearly 50,000 e-books and 150,000 print titles to choose from.
Audio Visual Materials Documentaries, educational videos...we have thousands in both DVD and streaming video formats.
Articles Articles from journals, magazines, and major newspapers are wonderful sources for research. Mostly housed in digital collections (and generally not for free on the Web), ACC databases are the primary means of connecting you to these articles.
Websites The Web has a lot of useful information if you know how to discern dependable sources from the undependable! Government sources and professional organizations can be good starting points.
