The NHSC offers loan repayment plans for new healthcare workers willing to work in areas of the US with limited access to care.

"The LRP funds IHS clinicians to repay their eligible health profession education loans — up to $40,000 — in exchange for an initial two-year service commitment to practice in health facilities serving American Indian and Alaska Native communities. "

Dozens of scholarships are listed here. If you wish, you can sign up to get matched to scholarships through their database. This will probably get you on mailing lists for schools, lenders, and more, so think carefully about signing up.

Application period is usually in the spring

Volume 5 of the College Blue Book covers information on Scholarships, Fellowships, Grants and Loans. After following this link:

1) Enter your ACCeID and password if you're off campus
2) In the Table of Contents, click on Medical Sciences
3) Choose Nursing Scholarships, Fellowships, Grants and Loans

Not the easiest source to use, and it only gives basic information, but it's updated every year and is a consistent source.
