The Turn of the Screw is a novella which is basically a short book. Longer than a short story, shorter than a novel, it's about 120 pages long.
ACC Library Services' copy of the text. Electronic text copies of this book, in a variety of formats, are available for free as part of Project Gutenberg. In addition, you might want to check out the Internet Archive for scanned copies of the printed book. You will need to create an account with Internet Archive for access.
You can also find an audio version through Librivox. Librivox may be downloaded as an app - just go to your app store to find it! You can also listen in your browser. I recommend the version linked above by Nikolle Doolin. Librivox books are read by volunteers so sometimes the audio is spotty. The version listed does not have spotty audio but her sign on and sign off annoyed me. You get used to it :)
