Materials in our libraries for this subject are shelved according to the Library of Congress Classification system. The print collection for this area is almost entirely at the Riverside Campus Library. The exception:  sculpture books are primarily at RGC.

Why are some welding and art metals books in the Ns and some in the Ts?

The N section covers the design and artistic aspects of the topics while the T section covers the technical/how-to aspects of the subjects.

If you prefer, you can search the library catalog by keywords. Some good keywords to use are: blacksmithing, forging, ironwork, metal, metal sculpture, metallurgy, welding

  If you are not finding material you need, ask a librarian for assistance.  You can also search libraries worldwide through WorldCat. Ask your librarian about interlibrary loan if you find a title you need at another library.
