Manor, in Travis County, Texas, is located 12 miles northeast of Austin. In 2010-2014 there were 1,700 households in Manor, Texas. The average household size was 3.4 people, resulting in a population of 5,037. Established in 1872, the Manor community was a hub for the Central Texas cotton industry. In the 21st century, Manor is a hub for the high-tech industry, with Samsung and Applied Materials within its boundaries and Dell neighboring.

Elgin Campus, Austin Community College in Elgin, TX
Elgin Campus, 1501 W. US HWY 290, Elgin, TX 78621, is one of 11 campuses in the ACC District service area. Located on 98 acres of land, it will be the first community college campus in Bastrop County. The campus provides a broad selection of college classes for university transfer and career training--general, workforce, developmental, and core curriculum classes, as well as a program in sustainable agriculture.
